Where do LRPD take-home vehicles go? Episode 53: Officer Ashley Duncan-Harris

Officer Ashley Duncan-Harris drives an unmarked vehicle to her home in Saline County

LRPD Officer Ashley Nicole Duncan-Harris - Another Mercenary Officer

In 2018 we spent $1,611.06 on fuel for Duncan-Harris' take-home vehicle.

In 2017 we spent $1,291.99 on fuel for Duncan-Harris' take-home vehicle.

LRPD and the city of Little Rock refused to provide us information regarding the city where the take-home cars go. So much for being transparent and open.

They provided it last year and you can read our post about that by clicking here.
Since they refuse to provide the information (the take home city is what we requested), we will post where these vehicles are actually going (their address which was not requested and is exempt under the AFOIA) and how much we pay for the fuel to provide transportation for these officers to drive to and from their homes each day.

More than half of all LRPD officers refuse to live in the city of Little Rock and be a true part of our community. Those are mercenary officers.

Many LRPD officers that have take-home vehicles use them to drive to and from off-duty jobs where they moonlight at security for merchants and direct traffic at churches on Sundays.

We believe this violates certain state laws and will be filing complaints with the Arkansas Ethics Commission concerning this illegal activity.

All the information used in this post is public information, readily available from the Internet or from a Freedom of Information Request.   We used the interwebs in this instance.

LRPD listed Duncan-Harris as living in Little Rock back in 2018.

That is odd, real estate records in Saline County reflect she purchased a home there in April 2017.

Duncan-Harris was married in May 2018.

News coverage listed her as a resident of Alexander, must have been the part of Alexander that was in Saline County as that is where she obtained her marriage license.

Her husband is an Arkansas State Trooper that appear to be on leave for military duty(based on his Facebook posts).

Here's a video of him explaining his cop gear.

We obtained a copy of her personnel file but there were no records provided that indicated notice of address changes as we found in personnel files of other officers (its a policy of LRPD to provide notice of address and phone number changes).

We did see that she provided a copy of a new Social Security Card in mere married name though.

We found that Duncan-Harris had been suspended for policy violations in 2015 in part for failing to activate the Mobile Video Recorder ("MVR") in her vehicle while on a call. An Internal Investigation file indicates she received a letter of reprimand for a similar violation on December 4, 2013. In that December 2013 violation she was also cited for sleeping, loafing or idling

A document in the second Internal Investigation states that it was her 5th violation since September 2013 and her third violation since December 2014. She was hired on June 25, 2012.

Looks like she has a flair for rule breaking.

Duncan-Harri's hubby, Quincy,  has some problems of his own, namely with the Office of Child Support Enforcement which dropped on his shortly after he married Ashley.
