MAYOR SCOTT WANTS A 24/7 SECURITY DETAIL PROVIDED FOR HIM AT WORK & HOME |
MAYOR SCOTT & CITY MANAGER BRUCE MOORE AT SCOTT'S FIRST BOARD MEETING AS MAYOR |
A spokesman for Mayor Scott confirmed that in an off-air telephone conversation during the Black Focus show on the JoyNetRadio.com today (it will be a topic of discussion on the show tomorrow from 12 - 2pm).
The spokesman stated that Scott's stand on the no-knock raids, wanting to establish a citizens review committee and other issues (especially the LRFOP) had made him a target.
We also learned that Mayor Scott took over the office suite that the City Manager was in due to concerns about "too much" accessibility in the office that the previous mayors occupied.
Stay tuned for more information as this is a breaking story.
***Correction***
One of our city hall sources advised that Moore has not been evicted from his office. Work is being done on the Sister Cities Conference Room to turn it into a new office for Mayor Scott.
