LRPD cop that heads their FOI unit wrecks car and is arrested for DWI

Lt. Michael "Lil Bang" Ford

Lt. Michael "Lil Bang" Ford was arrested in the early hours of December 3, 2021 after the Arkansas State Police responded to a single vehicle accident on I-430 N near the Rodney Parham exit.

Ford was arrested by troopers at 2:50 a.m. and transported to the Highway Patrol Division, Troop A, for processing of charges, according to information provided by the ASP.

Ford faces charges of driving while intoxicated, refusal to submit to a chemical test, and careless and prohibited driving according to the citation.

Ford has been placed on administrative leave pending an internal investigation, Sgt. Eric Barnes, a spokesperson for the Little Rock Police Department.

Ford was previously under investigation after he was accused of firing a rifle into the air on New Year's Day in 2020.

We broke that story and you can read post by clicking here.

You can read our post about the internal investigation of that incident by clicking here.

Little Rock Police surveillance camera locations

LRPD has 52 surveillance cameras placed throughout the city

The Little Rock Police Department has 52 surveillance cameras placed at various locations across the city of Little Rock.

A few are at intersections like the one at Kanis and Rodney Parham.

And downtown at the intersection of Markham and Louisiana.

LRPD also has them in parks, like the Riverfront Park and Murry Park at the Big Damn Bridge.

And at problem locations like PicPac at 12th and Peyton.

The camera at PicPac has a speaker so the cops at the 12th Street Substation can ask the neighborhood folks to grab them some smokes or a pint.

That particular surveillance camera captured a LRPD cop running a stop sign and hitting a citizen.

LRPD also occasionally places one of these or a more covert camera in locations to spy on individuals.

Is mercenary LRPD cop Danielle Robinson fit for duty?

The city of Little Rock has refused to comment on this matter due to the involvement of Cochran

Russ Racop - Snarky Media Group

Records obtained via a Freedom of Information request from the Little Rock Police Department cast doubt on the fitness of duty for mercenary LRPD cop Danielle Robinson, a resident of Jacksonville, AR.

Just what is Robinson's alleged disability? After all she is charged with protecting citizens of the city and enforcing laws and carries weapons, well, some of the time she does. Recently Robinson had her weapons and gear in her personnel vehicle, a violation of LRPD policy, and they were stolen.  Does she have physical or mental issues that can impact her ability to function? Do these disabilities place citizens and other cops in danger?

Take a look at this video.

Perhaps there is some good news for Robinson about her stolen handgun, the Arkansas State Police recovered a gun reported stolen by LRPD yesterday during the search of a vehicle during a traffic stop. We have made a request to ASP for records and will post an update to confirm if it was her weapon.

Additional records obtained show that Robinson wanted to take leave and go work for a few days for a company that would pay her around $1000 a day for her off-duty cop services during the aftermath of hurricane Ida.

LRPD administration nixed that idea. They barely have enough mercenary cops to patrol the street and provide them with #copaganda material. Can't have folks taking leave using city issued equipment for side jobs out-of-state.

Like most all LRPD cops. Robinson makes around $25-30K a year from side jobs while off-duty.

Robinson's Facebook page might give a clue to her "disability".

She also makes reference to not liking to respond to a certain kind of call as a Little Rock cop.

According to Robinson's Linkedin page, she is also looking to get a better job.

We have sent a request for records regarding Robinson's complaint against fellow cop and superior Lt. C.P. Thomas.  Stay tuned for updates.

LRPD spends $50,000 for cellphone application that points out unsafe areas of Little Rock

LRPD spent $50K for this poorly rated, seldom downloaded copaganda application

In keeping with his promise to make Little Rock the safest city in Arkansas and in the United States, the problematic LRPD chief has contracted with a company, MobilePD, Inc.,  to provide citizens of Little Rock (ones that are willing to expose their private data to download and install it) information about dangerous areas of the city.

Chief Keef learned about this application when he and other LRPD cops went to Texas earlier this year to tour Austin and Dallas police facilities.

Only four other law enforcement agencies utilize this reboot of the racist and now defunct SketchFactor app.

Records obtained from LRPD show that back in August, they signed a contract costing almost $50K with MobilePD to add their agency to the mobile application.

LRPD has been added on that app but there is no live data, just information about their substations and advertising for an event in November.

AtlasOne/MobilePD's website has this information about their mobile application.

AtlasOne/MobilePD has a fake page set up to show police departments how the can maximize their copaganda and bamboozle the public by making it look like they are actually doing something to make their city safe.

Here is a link to their mockup page: https://www.mobilepd.org/

LRPD has not yet announced this new crime fighting tool.

Why bother?

At-large City Director Antwan Phillips failed to file required campaign forms and his Exploratory Committee illegally operated as a campaign organization

Phillips could have and should have done a better job following campaign finance laws

Web Analytics

In his run for the Little Rock City Board of Directors in 2020,  attorney Antwan Phillips failed to file the required Campaign Contribution and Expenditure reports.

Phillips can't claim ignorance of the law as an excuse, as the Little Rock City Clerk emailed him a packet that contained information about the required forms he would have to file and instructions for filing them.

That violation of the law has resulted in our filing a complaint with the Arkansas Ethics Commission.

And to make matters worse, the Exploratory Committee established to raise campaign funds for Phillips, "Friends of Antwan Phillips" or "FAP" failed to turn overs fund raised to Phillips when he became a candidate and cease operations.

Instead FAP chugged on as a campaign machine for Phillips, accepting illegal contributions and violating Arkansas laws.

FAP was run by a fellow attorney-at-law and co-worker of Phillips at the Wright, Lindsey & Jennings Law Firm, Adrienne Baker.

Adrienne Baker - FAP Treasurer

And you guessed correctly, that resulted in our filing a complaint with the Arkansas Ethics Commission.

According to the last  Exploratory Committee Contribution and Expense report filed by Baker, the Phillips campaign ended in the hole with a debt of $12,156.66.

The willful violations of Arkansas campaign finance laws by Phillips and Baker does not inspire confidence in them as competent attorneys and reflects poorly on their law firm.

And if you watch the city board meeting you will see that Phillips also has difficulty in understanding Robert's Rules of Order, even after we sent him this link to a cheat sheet before his first board meeting.

We also have a complaint to be filed later this week with the Ethics Commission and the Sheriff's Department concerning the mayor, members of his staff and other city employees regarding violations of laws regarding the campaign for his failed sales tax initiative.

###

Apparently Phillips doesn't want folks to know he lives out in Chenal, as he lists his law firm's address as his home.

Here are some photos from his previous home. You can see more by clicking here.
