WHERE DO THE LRPD TAKE-HOME VEHICLES GO? - EPISODE 8: THE INTERNAL AFFAIRS DIVISION





All the take-home vehicles for the Internal Affairs division staff are unmarked.

First on the list is Sgt. Matthew Hoyle.

SGT. MATTHEW RYAN HOYLE



In 2018 we spent $1,413.99 for fuel for Hoyle's take-home vehicle.


In 2017 we spent $1,780.15  for fuel for Hoyle's take-home vehicle.



Hoyle was suspended once for a vehicle related incident.

The second on the internal affairs list is Sgt. Lequanna Brown.

In 2018 we spent $1,437.29 for fuel for Brown's take-home vehicle.

Third on the internal affairs list is Officer Steve Dodge.

In 2018 we spent $1,787.87 for fuel for Dodge's take-home vehicle.


In 2017 we spent $938.03 for fuel for Dodge's take-home vehicle.

Fourth on the internal affairs list is Sgt. J.R. Stephens.

In 2018 we spent $1,710.06 for fuel for Stephens' take-home vehicle.



In 2017 we spent $1,647.14 for fuel for Stephens' take-home vehicle.

Fifth on the internal affairs list is Sgt. Aaron Simon.

In 2017 we spent $1,702.11 for fuel for Simon's take-home vehicle.

In 2018 we spent $2,546.70 for fuel for Mourot's take-home vehicle.

LRPD and the city of Little Rock refused to provide us information regarding where the take-home cars go. So much for being transparent and open.

They provided it last year and you can read our post about that by clicking here.

Since they refuse to provide the information (the take home city is what we requested), we will post where these vehicles are actually going (their address which was not requested and is exempt under the AFOIA) and how much we pay for the fuel to provide transportation for these officers to drive to and from their homes each day.

More than half of all LRPD officers refuse to live in the city of Little Rock and be a true part of our community. 





Many LRPD officer that have take-home vehicles use them to drive to and from off-duty jobs where they moonlight at security for merchants and direct traffic at churches on Sunday's.

We believe this violates certain state laws and will be filing complaints with the Arkansas Ethics Commission concerning this illegal activity.

OFFICER TRACY BRANDON HAS AN UNMARKED VEHICLE TO TAKE HOME


It cost us $1, 601.71 for fuel for Brandon's take-home vehicle in 2018.



Brandon is another one of the LRPD public information officers.



LRPD and the city of Little Rock refused to provide us information regarding where the take-home cars go. So much for being transparent and open.

OFFICER ERIC SHANE BARNES HAS AN UNMARKED TAKE-HOME CAR



It cost us $746.44 for fuel for Barnes' take-home vehicle in 2018. Barnes is one of the public information officers for LRPD.

It cost us $1,641,75 for fuel for Martin's take-home vehicle in 2018.


In 2017 it cost us $1,896.65.
