CITY LEADERS MORE CONCERNED ABOUT LAUNCHING OF USS LITTLE ROCK THAN DEATHS OF MOTHER AND CHILDREN - TWO MORE REASONS FOR CHANGE

MAYOR MARK "SKIPPER" STODOLA  AT LAUNCHING OF USS LITTLE ROCK

We recently posted about the noticeable absence of city leadership (except for Director Ken Richardson) at the vigil held a week ago for Moriah Cunningham and her two children, A'Laylaih and Elijah Fisher.

You can read that post by clicking here.

So one would expect many of our city leaders to attend the funeral to make up for their absence at the vigil.

Nope.  Only Director Ken Richardson was there.

We know where last term mayor Mark Stodola was.

He was strutting in front of TV cameras trying to dodge questions about the crime rate, racial tension and 55 murders that have happened this year in Little Rock.

It's a good thing for Stodola that he has us blocked from commenting on his Facebook page; we would have shamed him to no end.

Where was City Manager Bruce Moore?

Where was the befouled Chief of Police Kenton Tremar Bucker?

Where were the other board of directors?

Who knows.  Maybe they were at the Ron Robinson Theater watching the live stream of the USS Little Rock launching.

We do know where the voters will be next November - voting those absent leaders out of office.

After we called them out for their lack of concern to connect with and support citizens, the city increased the standard $10,000 reward the city offers for information that leads to the arrest and conviction in homicide cases to $50,000 on Wednesday.

LRPD's effort is touching, but they spelled A'Laylaih's name incorrectly.

LRPD spokesman Steve Moore would not say whether the large reward means detectives are close to the suspect or at a dead end.

Little Rock city leaders are not helping close the racial divide in the city.  Their actions are widening it.

CITY RELEASES TERMINATION FILE OF RACIST RECRUIT

Click here to view the entire file.

We wonder why the "Pissing Policeman" was not fired using the same reasoning.

The other recruit fired in connection with the Schiefelbein Scandal has sought an opinion from the Arkansas Attorney General objecting to the release of his file.

We will post his file once the AG says it's releasable.

It is time for change in leadership at the police department and city hall.

LRPD FIRES TWO RECRUITS OVER SOCIAL MEDIA POSTS - IS OFFICER ZEB TYLER NEXT IN LINE?

According to information obtained from LRPD, they have fired racist recruit Brandon Schieffelbein and scapegoat recruit Brandon Gurley.

The city took the cowards way out after befouled LRPD Chief Kenton Tremar  Buckner had a "luncheon" meeting with Robert Newcomb, an attorney reportedly hired by the mostly white Fraternal Order of Police to represent Schiffelbein.

We covered this scandal in these posts:

http://badlittlerock.blogspot.com/2017/12/racism-in-little-rock-max-brantley-of.html

http://badlittlerock.blogspot.com/2017/12/letter-revels-firing-of-recruit.html

http://badlittlerock.blogspot.com/2017/11/lrbpoa-makes-another-complaint-to-chief.html

This matter comes at at time when a vast majority of citizens are questioning the fitness and ability of LRPD Chief Buckner and City Manger Bruce Moore, who often covers for Buckner,  to remain in their respective positions.

What will happen with Officer Zeb Tyler?  He is the officer that we revealed had accused Mayor Mark Stodoal and City Manager Bruce Moore of stealing public funds. Tyler also made questionable posts similar to that of Schieffelbein.

We will have posts in the coming days that reveal startling new information about befouled Chief Kenton Tremar Buckner, information that City Manager Bruce Moore and Buckner did not want us to obtain.

You will be shocked.

LRPD CHIEF SHOWS LACK OF JUDGMENT IN HIS ASSOCIATION WITH A CONVICTED SEX OFFENDER - REASON #69 FOR HIS REMOVAL

LRPD CHIEF KENTON TREMAR BUCKNER AND ROBERT D. WILLIAMS, CONVICTED SEXUAL OFFENDER AND FRAUDSTER

Befouled Little Rock Police Chief Chief Kenton Tremar Buckner's  association with convicted sex offender Robert D. Williams poses a serious problem for his and his departments reputation.

LRPD's standing with the citizens of Little Rock is at an all time low due to scandals with recruits and officers posting questionable content on social media that reveal racist beliefs and affiliations with questionable organizations.

We sent this email to Chief Buckner:

Buckner deleted it without reading it:

Williams claims to be a minister and have a doctoral degree.

We could not find any record on file with the Pulaski County Circuit Clerks Office where he has registered  ministerial credentials.  Evidence of his doctoral degree could not be found either and he was unwilling to provide proof for either.

Williams incorporated a so-called neighborhood association, which is sketchy in and of itself...

Especially since he does not own any property in that neighborhood or anywhere else in the county.

Why Chief Buckner would want to risk what little he has left of a reputation by frequently associating with a convicted sex offender is a question that must be answered.

Will City Manager Bruce Moore come to his rescue once again and defend his poor choice for LRPD COP and provide some bullshit excuse? Probably.

That is why they both have to resign or be fired.

MAYOR, CITY MANAGER AND BOARD OF DIRECTORS (EXCEPT DIRECTOR KEN RICHARDSON) NO SHOW AT VIGIL FOR MURDER OF MOTHER AND HER TWO CHILDREN IN SWLR - THEIR LACK OF CONCERN AND SUPPORT DEMANDS ACTION

CROSSES PLACED AT ROSEWOOD APARTMENTS IN MEMORY OF THE CITY'S 53rd, 54th and 55th MURDERS

The absence of city leadership at a vigil held Saturday evening for Mariah Cunningham, and two of her children; five year-old A’Layliah, and three year-old Elijah Fisher, Little Rock's 53rd, 54th and 55th homicide victims, is just one more reason increasing numbers of Little Rock voters are voicing weariness with elected officials that talk the talk, but don't walk the walk.

COMMUNITY LEADERS & ACTIVISTS EXPRESS SYMPATHY FOR THE FAMILY AND URGE WITNESSES TO COME FORWARD

These are the faces of city leaders that don't have time to  give up a measly thirty minutes to join concerned citizens and take a stand and remember those killed in the violent city of Little Rock.

Most of the elected ones will be up for reelection next year and they continue to give opponents more than a preponderance of evidence to win their arguments that they need to be replaced.

The only city director that cared was Ken Richardson.

While the murders occurred in Richardson's ward, other city leaders absence from events like this and Richardson's "Crisis in the Community" one last month is extremely disappointing.

City leaders were quick to call an emergency board meeting back in July after   the mass no-death-shooting incident at a sketchy LR bar, but where is the concern when children are murdered?

The answer is easy - NOWHERE TO BE FOUND.

Director Richardson was there to give support and stand with citizens from all over the city.

DIRECTOR KEN RICHARDSON & APARTMENT COMPLEX OWNER MELBA MARSHALL

More often than not, Richardson is the only member of the Little Rock Board of Directors that you will see at events like this.

The vigil was organized by the Reverend Benny Johnson, Founder and President of Arkansas Stop The Violence.

REV. BENNY JOHNSON - ARKANSAS STOP THE VIOLENCE

Approximately thirty-five individuals were at the vigil, and another 8.7k watched a Facebook live-stream of the event by a THV11 reporter Melissa Zygowicz.

LRPD Police Chief Kenton Tremar Buckner, showing his affinity for community policing, was nowhere to be found either.

LRPD CHIEF KENTON TREMAR BUCKNER - AIN'T GOT TIME FOR NO VIGIL

But there were four LRPD Officers that were there to show their support and grief for the community in which they patrol.

Sgt. Chris Phiilips, Officers Lora Gonzalez, Willie Christopher and Randy Dearing.

These officers were not ordered to attend the vigil, they took it upon themselves to show the community that they cared. They are to be commended for doing so in the midst of daily scandals at their department.

In case you were not one of the 8.7k individuals that watched the live-streaming of the event or watched the news on television last night, here are some videos to keep you informed.

It is time for change in leadership in Little Rock.

You know it.

They know it.

It will happen.

RACISM IN LITTLE ROCK: MAX BRANTLEY OF THE ARKANSAS TIMES GETS IT

Arkansas Times editor Max Brantley wrote a piece today that every citizen in Little Rock needs to read, especially those in positions of elected  and appointed leadership.

This blog as well as Corruption Sucks blog covered the matter of the recruit scandal and the subsequent one involving another active duty police officer.

If you missed them here are links:

Little Rock is fast approaching a boiling point and it's citizen's, especially those of color, are mad as hell and aren't going to take the same excuses and lack of action by dubious, broke down,  failed leadership any longer.

Change will be coming with the election next year and it can not get here fast enough.
