Since they refuse to provide the information (the take home city is what we requested), we will post where these vehicles are actually going (their address which was not requested and is exempt under the AFOIA) and how much we pay for the fuel to provide transportation for these officers to drive to and from their homes each day.

It cost us $1,146,47 for fuel for Fulk's take-home vehicle in 2018. A lot less than her buddy Asst. Chief Finks.

In 2017 we only spent $958.26 for fuel for Fulk's ride. She's a frugal public servant.

LRPD REFUSES TO RELEASE INFORMATION ABOUT TAKE-HOME VEHICLES

Last year we requested and obtained information regarding LRPD take-home vehicles. You can read that post by clicking here.

We had to fight to get the information but they provided it, including take-home city.

We sent an FOI request on June 3rd to get an updated list.

And as you know they are pushing back on releasing where all the take-home cars are going.

We know that most of these cars and not going to homes here in Little Rock as
the majority of LRPD officer refuse to live in the city of Little Rock.

Most all white officers live outside the city.

Last year when LRPD refused to give us photos of LRPD officers, so we created Snap-a-Cop and posted officer photos on Facebook and Twitter.

They were not happy about that. We obtained the photos from LRPD's own social media sites or those of LRPD officers (who violated LRPD General Orders by posting them).

We filed a denial of rights under the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act appeal and won.

So, in response to this latest lack of transparency from a feckless mayor and outsider police chief, we are posting the voter registration (public information) about each known driver of a LRPD take-home vehicle. We are calling this segment "Where do LRPD take-home vehicles go?"

LRPD SGT. STEVEN MONTGOMERY ARRESTED FOR AGGRAVATED ASSAULT

LRPD tried to keep this below the radar, but yet another of their officers has been suspended pending the outcome of a criminal case for aggravated assault, a Class D felony.

Details are sketchy at this time, but according to sources Montgomery was arrested by Benton Police on Tuesday, May 28th.

We have requested records from Benton PD and Saline County and will provide updates are more information becomes available.

We found that he has an open divorce case in Saline County. Could this be another instance of LRPD officers committing domestic violence on females?

We have recently posted about several LRPD officers that have been charged with criminal offenses. 

Chief Keef has his hands full and has little background for dealing with problems like this.

RECORDS SHOW THAT MAYOR SCOTT LIED ABOUT PAYMENT TO FIRM CONNECTED TO A STAFF MEMBER

IN APRIL MAYOR SCOTT  SAID THIS RECORD DID NOT EXIST WHEN WE SENT A FOI REQUEST FOR IT

For someone that campaigned on transparency, our autocratic, feckless and frightened mayor has proved that was all talk.

 

"I AM THE CEO AND CUSTODIAN OF RECORDS FOR THE CITY OF LITTLE ROCK"

The latest proof of that came to light this week.

In a response to this FOI request...

Scott provided a response and we were surprised to the purchase order that was for the Critical Incident video.

We were surprised because we made a verbal FOI request back on April 9th seeking records regarding the cost to the city for the critical incident video (for the police shooting in late February) that was produced by the marketing company, The Design Group, which Mayor Scott stated he used during his campaign for office.

The city via it's FOI coordinator,  sent a response later that same day "Per the custodian there are no such records responsive to this request".

Mayor Frank Scott is the official custodian of all city records. All information flows through his office after he issued an edict to that effect.

The mayor did a similar thing when we sent an FOI request for records for his proposed budget changes. His response was no such records exited.

At a board meeting, he stated he did not release information to the media prior to the board meeting because he wanted city employees to hear his decisions about job cuts from him. We will follow on on this matter in an up coming post.

That is an admission that he violated the law. 

We are filing a criminal complaint against Mayor Scott regarding his wilful violation of the Arkansas Freedom of Information Act. Also, we are filing a civil lawsuit on the same violations. 

Should Scott be convicted of a criminal violation, he could be removed from office. In fact there is an opinion from the Arkansas Attorney General that outlines that. Click here to view the opinion.
